I read recently from a reputable source that by the year 2050 nearly 50% of America's children will be on parole, probation or in prison. We are living during a time where our children are too quickly being waived into adult courts, too quickly being discarded into adult prisons. As I was a child whom was waived into the adult system and given a lengthly sentence, I know intimately, through the use of hindsight, that the process is utterly unfair. For children as a class are simply not as psychologically developed in legally relevant ways as adults are, so they are therefore, inevitably, manipulated and taken advantage of in the adult system, they simply aren't capable of making intelligent adult decisions during the duration of their adjudication. So personally I am saying enough is enough! I have declared war against the abuse of our children in courtrooms all around our beautiful nation. It is my goal to use my case to set a precedent on how juveniles must start being adjudged. To reach my goal, to reach what should be all of our goal, I am going to need help. So I'm asking for your assistance if you are a attorney I request that you assist me/us in all the ways you see it as we attempt to persuade the judicial administrators to adopt a system founded in a rehabilitative foundation as opposed to the status quo, a retributive system, when dealing with our children. If you're a concerned citizen I ask for your assistance in helping me research issues surrounding this heartbreaking problem and collaborating with me through dialogues to create progressive, powerful and out of the box ideas on how to reform this system that promises to adjudicate 50% of our children by the year 2050.
